Description :

The Royal Castle in Warsaw is one of the most iconic landmarks in Poland. Built in the late 14th century, it served as the official residence for the Polish monarchs until the 18th century. The castle has been destroyed and rebuilt several times throughout its history, most notably during the Swedish invasion of 1655 and the Nazi occupation of World War II. Today, the castle has been fully restored and serves as a museum and a symbol of Polish pride. The castle is composed of several different buildings, including the Great Hall, the Senate Hall, the Bell Tower, and the Armory.

The Great Hall is the centerpiece of the castle and was used for coronations and royal receptions. The Senate Hall was the seat of the Polish parliament and is now a museum showcasing a variety of artwork and artifacts from the castle’s past. The Bell Tower is the highest point of the castle and offers a stunning view of the city. The Armory is the oldest part of the castle and houses an impressive collection of weapons, armor, and armor plates. The castle is also home to the Royal Chapel, which contains some of the oldest and most valuable religious art in Poland.
