Dincauze has received many honors throughout the years.Some of them include:
In 1956, she was Phi Beta Kapp.

From 1958 to 1959, she was an Ann Radcliffe Fellow at Radcliffe Graduate School.
She was a Thaw Fellow for Harvard University at the Peabody Museum.
From 1967 to 1969, she was a Research Fellow in New England Archaeology and an Assistant Curator of North American Archaeology from 1970 to 1972.
Dr. Dincauze also received the Chancellor’s Medal and Distinguished Faculty Lecturer from the University of Massachusetts in 1989.
The Society for American Archaeology presented her with the Distinguished Service Award in 1997.
