The museum treasures up about 100,000 cultural relics left by the New Stone Age unearthed in the Xinle Site. And, the cultural relics include stoneware, crockery, bone objects, coal products, graphite, bloodstone, charring grain, charring shell, extremely rare woodcarvings and so on.
The Xinle Site Museum is located in the northern part of the Huangpu District f Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.
It is divided into northern and southern components: the southern has an exhibition hall for displaying cultural relics, while the northern is the actual archaeological site and is an important protected cultural property.
