Collections available for viewing in the museum include ancient armory, crockery, coins, silk costumes, jewelry, stuffed animals, portraits, manuscripts, letters, diaries, scrapbooks, periodicals, and maps.

The Visakha Museum also showcases some of the artifacts collected from other institutions.
The Bronze busts used by the first Indian Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust Nanjundiah were also preserved.
