The Manor House of Moesgard in the woods south of Arhus is the home of Moesgard Museum with archaeological and ethnographic collections. Unique archaeological finds from prehistoric Denmark. Two finds from the Iron Age - the Grauballe Man, the only completely preserved bog body, and the impressive sacrifices of weapons from Illerup Adal - are the absolute highlights.
The Moesgard Museum is a museum located in Hojbjerg, a suburb of Aarhus, Denmark.
The museum is housed partially in the historic Moesgard manor, newer facilities built for the purpose of the museum and a large open portion of the museum surrounds the facilities.
The museum houses numerous objects relating to Scandinavian history.
