Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum has two permanent exhibitions displaying a number of precious historical artefacts.

Supplemented by a wide range of audiovisual programmes, the Museum gives a comprehensive overview of the life and career of Dr Sun, and Hong Kong's vital role in the reform movements and revolutionary activities in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.




Description :

The Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum is located in the city of Guangzhou in southern China. It is a memorial dedicated to the celebrated Chinese revolutionary and the founding father of the Republic of China, Dr. Sun Yat-sen. The museum was built in 1931 and was the first of its kind in the country to commemorate the legacy of Dr. Sun. It was one of the first buildings and sites in China to be designated a national monument. The museum houses many of Dr. Sun's personal artifacts, documents, and photographs.

It also exhibits artifacts related to the 1911 Revolution that Dr. Sun led. These artifacts include weapons, flags, books, and documents. The museum also has a library and a theater that regularly shows films related to Dr. Sun's life and work. It also hosts educational programs on topics related to Chinese history. The museum also puts on regular exhibitions, lectures, and other activities to help visitors gain a better understanding of the importance of Dr. Sun's legacy in Chinese history.
