Oskar Schindler was an German industrialist who was responsible in saving 1200 Jews by employing them in his enamelware and ammunitions factory. Schindler witnessed a 1943 raid on the Kraków Ghetto, where soldiers rounded up the inhabitants for shipment to the concentration camp at Płaszów, Schindler was appalled by the murder of many of the Jews who had been working for him and was then determined to save the jews working for him.

Oskar Schindler uses Jews to start a factory in Poland during the war. He witnesses the horrors endured by the Jews, and starts to save them. In order to protect the Polish Jews he recruits them in his factory. Even after running out of money, he spends all his treasures to keep the factory alive and save the Jews who continue to work in the factory. He bribes the SS officers heavily to keep their hands off the Jews working in his factory.
