Acheivements / Contributions :

Dr. Dodson's area of expertise was in Egyptian funerary equipment and architecture during the second to third Intermediate Periods.
He participated in two excavations early in his career, the first on the Isle of Man in 1983 of a Viking/Medieval site.
The second was in Hampshire in 1985 of an Iron Age hill fort.
