							Dincauze has received many honors throughout the years.Some of them include:
- In 1956, she was Phi Beta Kapp. 
-  From 1958 to 1959, she was an Ann Radcliffe Fellow at Radcliffe Graduate School. 
- She was a Thaw Fellow for Harvard University at the Peabody Museum. 
- From 1967 to 1969, she was a Research Fellow in New England Archaeology and an Assistant Curator of North American Archaeology from 1970 to 1972. 
- Dr. Dincauze also received the Chancellor’s Medal and Distinguished Faculty Lecturer from the University of Massachusetts in 1989. 
- The Society for American Archaeology presented her with the Distinguished Service Award in 1997.
