These objects, Eldamaty said, seem to be composed of both metal and organic materials.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greatarchaeology.com\/news\/wp-content\/king-tuts-tomb-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-718 alignnone\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greatarchaeology.com\/news\/wp-content\/king-tuts-tomb-1-300x223.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greatarchaeology.com\/news\/wp-content\/king-tuts-tomb-1-300x223.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greatarchaeology.com\/news\/wp-content\/king-tuts-tomb-1-768x572.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greatarchaeology.com\/news\/wp-content\/king-tuts-tomb-1.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt could be the discovery of the century,\u201d he said. Noting that he can\u2019t speculate further about the things that lie within the chambers, he said that another radar test has been scheduled for the end of this month, in order to determine the best way to proceed with the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the radar scan represent another step toward a radical new understanding of the most famous tomb in Egypt\u2019s Valley of the Kings. First discovered by archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922, the tomb of King Tut yielded an astonishing array of grave goods\u2014more than 5,000 artifacts, many of them in pristine condition.
