Description :

The Tokorozawa Aviation Museum is dedicated to the history of aviation in Japan. The museum is located in the city of Tokorozawa, Saitama and contains aircraft and other displays (many of which are interactive) and an IMAX theatre. Located on the site of Japan's first airfield which started operations in 1911, the original single runway is still visible and has been incorporated into a larger multifunction park adjacent to the museum. Tokorozawa is known as the origin of Japanese aviation due to it being the place where aircraft were first flown in Japan. The museum isn't vast, but the exhibits that are there are very, very good and well-worth seeing for anyone who has a concentration in the subject.
