Description :

The Colombian National Coffee Park is a theme park located in the Colombian coffee-producing region of Quindío. Opened in 1997, the park is designed to showcase the history and culture of the country’s coffee production. It is located near the city of Armenia, and is the country’s most-visited park. The park features a variety of attractions that highlight the process of coffee production, from the growing of the beans to the final cup of coffee.

There are educational exhibits, a theater, and restaurants, as well as interactive activities such as a 4-D theater, a coffee-tasting tour, and a “coffee-themed” amusement park. Visitors can also take part in a variety of workshops, such as learning how to roast, grind, and brew coffee. The park also includes a number of outdoor activities, such as hiking and biking trails, a butterfly garden, and a zip-line. Visitors can also explore the park’s two museums, which feature exhibits on the history of Colombian coffee, as well as a replica of a traditional coffee farm. The park also hosts a number of special events throughout the year, such as the Coffee Festival in April and the National Coffee Congress in August.
