  • The Vaalserberg is a hill which is noted for being the place where the borders of three countries intersect which are Drielandenpunt in Dutch, or Dreiländereck in German, or Trois Frontières in French.
  • Between 1830 and 1919 it even was a Vierlandenpunt or see Moresnet for the now missing fourth one. This border intersection has made the Vaalserberg well-known tourist magnetism in the Netherlands with a tower on the Belgian side.
