This national park, lies in the south-western tip of Java on the Sunda shelf, includes the Ujung Kulon peninsula and numerous offshore islands and encompasses the natural reserve of Krakatoa.
It’s a place of natural beauty and geological interest .It provides the study of internal volcanoes and it has the largest region of lowland rainforests in the Java plain.
Several species of rare plants and animals can be found here, the Javan rhinoceros being the most seriously under threat.
